What Is The Maskerade Project?

What if I told you that your privacy does not exist? And that at any moment, even while you’re reading this, someone can squeeze out your entire transaction history and tie it to you? If you don’t already know, this is exactly what is happening right now. Privacy is compromised and a false promise. However, all hope is not lost.
Enter Maskerade.
Maskerade is the solution to your privacy needs by leaving a dead end for anyone tracing your transactions. Our privacy-oriented solution allows for users to be as anonymous as possible with a few clicks of a button.
Why Solana?
The reason for choosing Solana to build Maskerade is two-fold. Primero uno: At the time of writing, Solana is still considered a very new ecosystem that is gaining traction rapidly. With low gas fees and high TPS, Solana is heavily favoured for beginners compared to the likes of Ethereum. We strongly believe that Solana has a long runway and want to give the community access to a such a service in its budding years.
The second reason is the integration of Solana NFTs into OpenSea. As I’m sure most of you have heard, OpenSea plans to add support for Solana NFTs, which has caused a huge pump in collections that are listed there (e.g. DeGods, Okay Bears). This means ETH whale money will be flowing into Solana. Needless to say, this could potentially rocket Solana’s prices.
